The next stage is a “Throw Up” A Throw up is usually rapidly executed bubble style lettering and allows opportunity to fill in the font and add shadows or block. A “Piece” is normally a complex and technical multicoloured artwork. The style of an artists tag style is normally reflected in the flow and balance of their piece. Writers often collaborate in crews enhancing ownership and identity whilst participating in group activities.
